The above digital paintings I created as a way of communicating design ideas to the incredibly talented people who did the actual work of building the game world. This is but a sampling of the work I completed for this project.

Spicing it Up

I've been doing a lot of paintings with tighter brushwork, so creating this was a refreshing change of pace for me.

rabelais' Pantagruel

I'm illustrating scenes from Rabelais' story Gargantua and Pantagruel. It was actually illustrated by Gustav Dore. Check it out. The main character in this painting is Pantagruel. A one man wrecking crew.

Alien Soldier

My Highschool art teacher told me I'd grow out of this stuff, but I don't see that happening any time soon. I've painted out the rest of his body, but I have to give you a reason to keep checking my blog. ;-)

ACTION!

Picasso once said "I attempt that which I do not know how to do, so that I may learn how to do it." I'm trying to live by those words as much as possible, and that is why I created this painting.
